Week 19: The week we bought our 1st baby furniture!
Week 19 – getting so close to half way! At this point, most of the people I work with on a regular basis known about the pregnancy – everyone has been really excited for Sara and I. No baby-related appointments this week, and not really a ton going on. It’s month-end at work, which is always a little busier.
One exciting thing this week: our crib arrived! It went on sale last week, so Sara and I decided to order it. It is a convertible 4-in-1 crib that goes from a crib to a toddler bed to a day bed to a full sized bed (you just have to buy the full sized bedframe – it provides the head and foot boards. I’ll put a picture of it on this page of the scrapbook.
I’ve been monitoring my blood pressure periodically from home and it’s always been good (which is a big relief).
I’m still not gaining any weight, but at least I seemed to have stopped losing weight, which is comforting. Someone of my size (overweight to start with) really doesn’t need to gain much, and most of that should come in the 3rd trimester, so the midwives I’ve been seeing haven’t been concerned about it yet.
